My photography is built around a singular philosophy: The Art of Place. I am Michael Mowery, founder and creative director of Suncoast Photo. From Manhattan to Central and South Florida
My professional photography career began in the fast-paced, high-stakes environment of Manhattan, NYC. There, I spent more than 25 years refining my craft and creating premier imagery for prominent families, huge corporations, wealth management firms, interior designers, architects, and the largest global logistics industrial real estate company in the world. I have also documented more than 2,000 luxurious weddings, mitzvahs and major corporate events. This experience has given me the ability to expertly control studio-quality lighting on location while remaining attentive to both the carefully planned moments and the unexpected details that make each story unique.
Now based in Melbourne, Florida, I bring this intentional, studio-lit environmental approach to private residences, luxury venues, corporate headquarters, and commercial properties throughout the region, along with select destination commissions nationwide.
